“Hongyuan"plastomer modified bitumen waterproof membrane is a sheet-like modified bitumen waterproof membrane with a uniform thickness that is made with an          atactic polypropylene or Polyolefine polymers (APAO and APO and so on) as a modifier, a high quality long-fiber polyester base as a reinforcing layerand PE film, fine sand        and mineral aggregates adsorbed on surface;

①Applicable to high temperature regions: excellent high temperature-resistance (high temperature 130℃, low temperature -15℃);

Transport and storage

1) Products of different types or specifications should be stored separately during storage or transportation. The storage site should be protected against insolation and rain and should be well        ventilated. The storage temperature shall not be higher than 50℃. Single layer is required for vertical placement storage and a maximum of two layers is required for transportation.

2) Tilting or transverse pressing shall be avoided during transportation and may be covered with tarpaulin if necessary.

3) The storage period is one year starting from the date of production in the case of normal storage and transportation conditions. 

②Good sealing effect: simple and convenient hot melt procedure, oil-producing materials, hot-melt sealing of overlapping part, forming excellent entire waterproofing       effect;

③Adopting good APP modifier to effectively improve high temperature resistance of bitumen, increase stability and prolong a service life;

④Adopting excellent long-fiber polyester base as a reinforcing layer to effectively increase membrane strength so that the membrane has such features as puncture               resistance, tear resistance and break-resistance;

⑤Applicable to structural deformation and cracking: large elongation (tension no less than 800N/50mm, elongation no less than 40%)

Application scope

Applicable to industrial and civil building roofs and underground waterproof, moisture-proof engineering and indoor swimming pools, fire fighting water pools and so on; metros, tunnels, comprehensive pipe corridor, road and bridges, waste landfill yard, waste water treatment facilities and water channels and so on

Working points:

1) Base layer treatment: the base layer should be leveled and compacted and should be free from sharp objects or pitted surfaces, the internal and external corners are arc-treated and then brushed with base layer treatment agent in a uniform way to avoid white exposure; next procedure can be done only after the surface layer dries.

2) Detail enhancement treatment: enhancement treatment should be performed for parts such as internal and external corners, settlement joints, post-cast strips, pipe roots, water outfalls, eaves gutter and so on.

3) Entire working: expanding membranes to release stress and pre-paving the membranes and performing hot melt work along a snap line; the ending of membranes of vertical surfaces is fixed with metal pressing strips and sealed with sealant.  

4) Subsequent working: paving an isolating layer and preparing a concrete protection layer; if shale or mineral aggregates are adopted for roofing, the protection layer may not be prepared. 

Precautions:

1) No work is allowed to be carried out in snowy and rainy days or days with wind being grade 5 or higher;

2) The ambient temperature of the work shall not be lower than -10℃.

3) The waterproof membranes may be heated properly to avoid under-heating or overheating. It is preferred that surface layer melts and bitumen is black and bright and edge oil reaches 8-10mm.

4) For shale waterproof membranes, the short-side overlapping part should be treated with a sand setting process to improve bonding strength.

5) Material placing sites or working sites should be provided with a corresponding number of fire extinguishers in time.
