Single Component Polyurethane Waterproof Coating
Biogo-S single component PU waterproof coating is a reaction type wet-curing filming polymer waterproof coating, which is made through an addition polymerization with isocyanate, polyether polyol as main materials together with different agents and fillers. In use, it is coated on the waterproof base layer and performs chemical reaction with moisture in the air through –NCO end group in the PU prepolymer to form a tough, soft and seamless rubber waterproof film on the base layer surface.

Construction Process

Key points of construction
- Base cleaning: waterproof base should be smooth, firm, dry, no sharp concave and convex, honeycomb, hemp and peeling, no oil, no floating ash, on cracks, base deformation joints, pipe roots left in the groove should be filled with sealing materials and do additional waterproof treatment, smooth solid base without coating base treatment agent.
- Details of additional waterproof layer: internal and external Angle, tube root, basic details such as deformation seam, should undertake additional waterproof layer construction first, can increase use 2 to 4 times (thickness is not less than 1 mm), if you want to clip shop when reinforced material must be soaked, carcass deformation joint parts should be put a layer of polyester nonwoven, increase more waterproof coating,and form additional waterproof layer empty shop.
- Large surface waterproof coating construction: select plastic scraper to scrap evenly, should be divided into 2-3 times.When there is no base treating agent, the first time should be thin coated to close the base pores. After coating, it should be fully cured until the finger contact is basically non-stick and then coated for a second time. The general interval is 12h, and the second time should be vertical with the first time.
- Retracting and edge sealing: check the position of retracting head, apply edge retracting coating.
- Construction of protection and isolation layer: after the waterproof coating film is finally completed, and passed the quality inspection (closed water test), can process the construction according to the relevant specifications or design requirements.
Precautions
- No work is allowed to be carried out in snowy and rainy days or days with wind being grade 5 or higher ,The ambient temperature of the work shall not be lower than 5℃,not be higher than 35℃.
- After application is completed , materials protection should be performed .
- Construction site No smoking ,No fire ,Pay attention to the ventilation. To protect the waterproof performance of PU film .
- Cannot add diluent .
Transport and Storage
- The storage site should be protected against insolation and rain and should be well ventilated , Far away fire , the storage temperature shall be 5℃-40℃.
- The storage period is one year starting from the date of products in the case of normal storage and transportation conditions.
